Hide and rearrange buttons in the menu bar

Application Wizard lets you rearrange buttons in the menu bar and allows you hide buttons you do not use.

To hide or move a button:

  • On macOS 10.12 or later, Option-click the button and drag it out of the menu bar or to its new position, respectively.

  • On macOS 10.11, Command-click the button and drag it out of the menu bar or to its new position, respectively.

To show a hidden button:

  • On macOS 10.12 or later, Option-click the buttons’ background and choose the corresponding Show Menu command from the shortcut menu.

  • On macOS 10.11, Command-click the buttons’ background and choose the corresponding Show Menu command from the shortcut menu.

Alternatively, you can customize the Application Wizard buttons in the menu bar by clicking the Customize Buttons button in the General pane of the Application Wizard preferences. To rearrange buttons, drag items in the list. To show or hide buttons, select or deselect their Show checkboxes.
